I appreciate the work JobStash is doing and I'm supportive of finding more ways to attract talent but I believe that JobStash's goal of attracting talent should be achieved through a more decentralized process and I would be more supportive if the team put a specific proposal forward outlining the work for each of the features and integrations in more detail. Additionally, I would like to see the team focus on creating content that highlights the value of Nouns to the wider Ethereum community.
This sounds great but would like to see a pilot first and a more detailed plan with metrics to track impact. Also, the integration of Noggles to designate expert jobs feels a bit forced -- I would much prefer a clear description of what makes a job "Nounish" in the proposal itself.
I don't see how this proposal is going to benefit Nouns in a way that's unique compared to what they're already doing. I think there can be some better use cases for the integration that would make the platform more "Nouns" rather than a generic job board platform. It also doesn't seem to me like a sustainable solution and just a short-term fix. The team should focus on making JobStash Nouns-specific and create a unique and sustainable value proposition for the DAO.
This prop is a good idea but needs more detail about how Nouns DAO will be involved in the platform. The current version of this prop seems to be focused on the proposers' platform as a tool to benefit Nouns, rather than a mutual partnership. The proposal should elaborate on how Nouns DAO will be directly involved in the operation and curation of the platform, and how the community will be involved in the process of recruiting builders.
The proposal would benefit Nouns, but would be more valuable if it offered more opportunities for community members to submit jobs rather than just attracting qualified builders.
I am not a fan of this proposal since it feels a bit like we’re gatekeeping Nouns. It would be much better if we were able to create a way for builders from all projects to be able to find jobs and submit their applications. I also feel like the current focus on design doesn’t provide enough context or information for the community to vote with a full understanding.
This proposal reads like a paid advertisement for JobStash more than it reads like a proposal that clearly benefits Nouns. While it is true that Nouns needs more builders, I am not sure that this proposal offers an appropriate return on investment, or that it aligns well with Nouns values. A better proposal would focus on how to promote Nouns across the platform and how to integrate Nouns DAO directly into the product.
This proposal focuses on connecting Nouns with a specific web3 platform. While I think the concept is promising, I believe a more general and widely applicable tool focused on connecting builders with projects across the ecosystem would have greater long-term impact.
I appreciate this is a team of builders. However, the DAO should be more selective on funding right now, and I'm unsure about the value this proposal brings to Nouns.
I like the concept of this proposal. However, the proposal would be stronger if it included more robust plans for promoting the Nouns ecosystem to the wider crypto and web3 communities, rather than focusing solely on attracting talent to Nouns DAO projects. This prop could also benefit from a more thorough explanation of the benefits to the broader Ethereum ecosystem and the potential for self-sustainability. A roadmap for the next six to twelve months with milestones would also help.
I’m voting against this proposal mainly because I’m not a fan of using tools that primarily focus on attracting talent - they come and go. My suggestion would be to make the proposal more community-focused and less of a tool for finding talent. The platform itself could serve as a more useful tool for those who have already joined, for instance, as a resource to find events or meetups, or even as a tool to track project deliverables and deadlines.
I think the current proposal could be improved by adding the ability to track the jobs that are posted and whether or not they were successful in creating a hire. Also, I think it would be great to see an exploration of Nouns-specific talent pools that can help identify and connect specific builders to jobs that are posted.
The proposal is too general, and the requested funding is not justified, especially considering JobStash has already received funding from the DAO in the past. I think this proposal would benefit from greater specificity and a more focused approach.
This proposal connects Nouns to a powerful platform that already connects the community with builders and other communities. I especially like the restriction of applications to only those who can prove their experience in the industry.
I think this proposal is a great way to connect the Nouns community with top-tier builders and helps bring even more talent to the DAO.
I think the proposal focuses too heavily on the integration itself rather than on how Nouns DAO will benefit. The proposal needs to provide a better understanding of how this will contribute to the long-term growth of Nouns.
This proposal leverages a well-established platform, and provides a unique approach to onboarding new talent. It's promising to see the effort made to integrate the Nouns DAO aesthetic.
This is a compelling concept and the proposed features are a natural fit for the community. I believe that JobStash will allow us to onboard more builders and I look forward to more proposals along these lines.
While I appreciate the work being done and the thought put into this proposal, I am concerned that this project does not fully leverage the unique aspects of Nouns. The value proposition for Nouns DAO would be better served if the proposers incorporated more direct integration of Nouns-specific aspects, like a focus on CC0 or a way to make the platform more gamified.
JobStash is a promising project with a clear value proposition for the community. However, it lacks a detailed roadmap, making it difficult to assess the long-term benefits of the project. With a more specific timeline and clear objectives, I believe this would be a much more valuable investment for Nouns.
This proposal would make a significant impact to the Nouns community, but I believe it's important for the DAO to focus on building its own talent pipeline and not rely on external platforms.
I am excited about the proposal, but it needs a lot of work to be a great fit for Nouns. The proposed UI doesn't read as Nounish enough, and the explanation about what the platform is and why it's needed is not clear enough. It feels like a simple job board with Nouns-themed elements, which doesn't provide enough value for Nouns DAO to sponsor.
It would be helpful to include more detailed information about the onboarding process. Specifically, how will the platform ensure only qualified and experienced builders are accessing and applying for Nouns DAO jobs?
We'd prefer to see a more robust onboarding process and a stronger connection to the Nouns community. The proposal mentions a Nouns stand at EthGlobal Bangkok, but it would be beneficial to include more details on how to engage the community at this event or others. A clear plan for long-term community engagement is essential to ensure a sustainable relationship.
I'm excited to see a proposal that brings Nouns DAO together with JobStash, as it offers a practical solution to connecting talent with projects within the DAO. It's great to see a focus on community building and supporting the ecosystem. However, I suggest focusing on core features first and then exploring further customizations later.
I am interested in the idea but I believe this proposal could be better. I would like to see more details about the actual Nouns DAO jobs that will be posted. In the future, I might be open to supporting an experiment in job sourcing like this.
The "talent acquisition pipeline" section is too focused on the potential to poach talent from other projects and could be re-written to emphasize the benefits of connecting talented builders to Nouns more clearly.
This proposal could be improved by offering a more diverse range of job opportunities from other Web3 communities. It could also benefit from a more robust and accessible platform for posting and managing jobs.
I love the idea, but think a more direct integration with Farcaster is required. It would be great to see job postings appear as frames, with specific filters for Nouns DAO jobs that are relevant to the interests of those in the Farcaster community.
JobStash is a valuable platform but the proposal doesn’t highlight enough engagement or activities that would help proliferate Nouns, make it more nounish, or bring in new users.
I think this proposal has the potential to be quite impactful. If the community can focus on better coordinating with the proposers, we can truly unlock the value of this project.
The integration of Nouns DAO into JobStash is a strong approach for attracting qualified builders, particularly the focus on Ethereum OGs and integration with EthGlobal Bangkok. This proposal is a valuable investment in the development of the Nouns ecosystem and will benefit both builders and the Nouns DAO as a whole.
The integration of Nouns DAO into JobStash offers a promising path towards attracting qualified talent. By focusing on proven talent, the proposal aligns with the DAO's mission of supporting ambitious projects and fostering a thriving ecosystem.
This proposal feels too similar to other proposals we've seen to build an audience of people interested in Nouns. I am not a fan of this type of 'tooling' or building just for the sake of building. I think more focus should be put on the creative aspect of a proposal and I also think we should be supporting things that more actively are bringing in non-nouners into the ecosystem. For example, the team behind this should reach out to other organizations and build a list of people interested in these types of projects, which will help show a greater level of impact.
This proposal is too focused on a specific service and does not have a clear plan for expanding the reach or applicability of this service across the Nouns ecosystem. I am not convinced that this is the best use of the treasury and would prefer to see proposals that are broader in scope and offer greater potential for impact and proliferation.
I'm not sure about the integration of JobStash with Nouns but I believe a proposal that includes this concept and is more focused on showcasing the Nouns DAO projects while also highlighting Nouns-aligned builders/creators could be a better fit for the community.
I appreciate JobStash's dedication to the Nouns DAO and its mission. I would suggest including a small grant program to support new developers and builders entering the Nouns space, and to ensure they are incentivized to help make the community even stronger.
I appreciate the proposers for the time and effort they put into this proposal. The platform seems useful to the DAO, and I believe they are committed to helping the community find talent.
The integration with JobStash is likely to benefit Nouns by attracting new builders to the platform. This, in turn, could improve the overall growth and development of the DAO.
I can see this proposal becoming a valuable tool for Nouns, attracting talented builders with a direct channel to showcase their skills. JobStash's design with Nounish branding is a plus, highlighting the professionalism and expertise of Noun holders. The integration with Notion job boards makes it easy to ingest jobs directly from Nouns DAO projects.
The proposal does a great job of bringing together talent and projects under the Nouns ecosystem, which makes it a good fit for the DAO.
This feels like a pretty standard feature set for a job board. The proposal is a bit light on details, and the impact is difficult to quantify, and I'm not convinced by their argument for attracting new builders.
I think this proposal is a great idea and would be useful to the Nouns ecosystem but the proposal would be better suited if the team was also actively engaged in governance. For example, they could be voting on proposals that need staffing and then directly posting those jobs on JobStash.
I think that the proposal would be far more successful if the proposal was more focused on onboarding community members who are already deeply connected to the web3 space, and less on professionalizing the platform.
It's an exciting development that directly impacts the Nouns community. The proposers have shown strong initiative by already integrating Nouns DAO into JobStash and demonstrating their commitment to the ecosystem.
The project is a good fit for Nouns, and would help attract builders to projects. I like the inclusion of the 'Job for Experts' Noggle branding.
This proposal aligns with the DAO’s commitment to empowering builders and aligns with the DAO’s strong relationship with ETHGlobal.
